Hwy 12 Repairs Expected To Cause Delays Between Rio Vista, Suisun City

SOLANO COUNTY, CA -- Caltrans crews are performing road repairs on state Highway 12 between Rio Vista and Suisun City this week.

Crews will be replacing damaged or missing center divider posts, also known as "channelizers," Tuesday through Thursday, according to Caltrans officials.

Work begins at 9 a.m. each day and concludes at 3 p.m.

Due to the work, there will be intermittent closures on Highway 12 between Drouin Drive and Shiloh Road.

Crews will close the highway in both directions for 10 minutes at a time, then reopen it to release traffic, according to Caltrans.

Motorists can expect delays and are asked to drive with caution when traveling through the area.
