
This summer, make a difference in the lives of Fairfield and Suisun children by joining Fairfield PAL Summer Bites, a free breakfast and lunch program sponsored FSUSD Child Nutrition and the USDA. Running from June 11 to July 25 (closed June 19 & July 4), the program will ensure all local kids have access to nutritious meals during the summer break.
We’re looking for enthusiastic community members to help make this program a success. No experience is necessary — just a passion for supporting kids and a willingness to serve.
Volunteer Opportunities:

- Breakfast Support: 10:00 – 11:00 AM
- Lunch Support: 12:30 – 1:30 PM
- Flexible Support: Help at the shifts that work best for you!
- Date: June 11- July 25, 2025 (closed on June 19 and July 4)
Volunteer Responsibilities:
- Greet children and create a welcoming atmosphere
- Serve meals and assist with light cleanup
- Complete paperwork to track meals served and requests for the next day
- Help foster a fun, positive environment

Volunteer Requirements:
- Must be 16 or older (flexible schedules available)
- Volunteers 18+ must meet California Senate Bill 506 requirements (Mandated Reporter training + DOJ background check)

About the Fairfield PAL Teen Center
The Fairfield PAL Teen Center provides free recreational programming to engage underserved teens, helping them develop leadership skills, build relationships, and grow into productive community members. Located in the heart of Fairfield, the center is a safe and welcoming space for teens to thrive. The Fairfield PAL Program is open to Fairfield, Suisun, and Travis Students ages 13-18 who are enrolled in school. Membership is FREE and can be applied for at the Fairfield Community Center (1000 Kentucky Street) with a current ID and parent / guardian signature. The facility is currently ungoing construction and programs are subject to change with little notice. Updates are made on social media as they become available.
