Jury Convicts Driver 6 Years After Suisun City Crash
A passenger in the car driven by the San Francisco man collapsed and died a few days after the 2012 rollover crash.

FAIRFIELD, CA — A San Francisco man faces up to six years in prison following his conviction this week in Solano County Superior Court of DUI causing injury for a 2012 crash, according to the Solano County District Attorney's Office.
A Solano County Superior Court jury on Monday acquitted Hanas White, 44, of vehicular manslaughter and hit-and-run, but found true the special allegation that White inflicted great bodily injury, defense attorney Damone Keith Hale said.
The solo-vehicle rollover crash happened around 2:15 a.m. on Dec. 15, 2012, near the Marina shopping center in Suisun City.

A passenger in the vehicle, Reginald Quinn, suffered injuries including fractured ribs and a lacerated kidney, prosecutors said.
Quinn was treated at the NorthBay Medical Center in Fairfield and was released on Dec. 22, 2012, but he collapsed and died a few days after his release, prosecutors said.

White had a blood-alcohol level of 0.14 percent, according to the district attorney's office. He is scheduled to be sentenced March 29.
