Large Fire Burning North of Vacaville, Threatening Several Homes & Barns

A six-alarm vegetation fire burning north of Vacaville this afternoon is threatening several structures that include homes and barns, a fire battalion chief said.

The fire was reported off Timm Road, between Buena Vista and Clancy lanes, at about 2:45 p.m., Vacaville Fire Protection District Battalion Chief Tim Walton said.

The blaze went to six alarms around 3 p.m., Walton said.
