Police Looking For Home Intruder
Do you know a man who has been taking walks in the wee hours near Utah Street and Pennsylvania Avenue in Fairfield?

The Fairfield Police Department has received two reports of a male suspect entering occupied homes in the early morning hours near the area of Utah St and Pennsylvania Ave. In late July and again on August 18th 2013, separate residents called the police to report a male suspect standing in their bedroom. During both incidents the residents were initially asleep and awoke to find the suspect in their bedroom. In both incidents the suspect left the residence when confronted by the residents by calmly walking to the front door of the home. In the latest incident the suspect was then seen running away from the neighborhood on foot on Pennsylvania Ave towards the direction of the downtown area.
The suspect has been described as:
Either a white or hispanic male 20 to 30 years of age standing approximately 5 ft. 9 inches with short hair. At least one witness described the suspect as having a wide build.
One victim said on Facebook, “I was asleep on the couch and he climbed through the window and moved the blanket from my face. I screamed so loud it scared him and he ran.”
