Prosecutors To Charge Fairfield Mom Of 10 With Child Abuse
Nine charges of child abuse will be added against Ina Rogers of Fairfield. The children's father faces multiple torture and abuse charges.

SOLANO COUNTY, CA — Wednesday, nine felony charges of child abuse will be added to a complaint against a Fairfield woman who was arrested for child neglect, Solano County prosecutors said. The amended complaint against 30-year-old Ina Rogers will be filed at 8:30 a.m. in Department 11 of the Law and Justice Center in Fairfield.
Rogers and 29-year-old Fairfield man Jonathan Allen, the father of the couple's 10 children, were arrested after a police investigation, which started with a report on March 31 of a missing 12-year-old child.
Fairfield police said they found the child and searched the couple's Fieldstone Court home where they located nine other children between four months and 11 years old living in squalor and unsafe conditions.

Lt. Greg Hurlbut said the children reported injuries that included burns, bruises, puncture wounds and injuries from a BB gun. They were placed in protective custody with Solano County Child Welfare Services.
