Railroad Ties Fire Extinguished In Suisun City: Police
The fire was sending smoke through parts of Solano County but was not a threat to homes, according to authorities.

SUISUN CITY, CA β A fire that started Monday evening in a stack of railroad ties in the Old Town area of Suisun City was brought under control shortly before 8 p.m. according to the Suisun City Police Department.
The fire started shortly before 7 p.m. Monday and police had advised residents to shelter-in-place, but said no buildings were threatened.
An Alert Solano email also went out, advising residents that heavy smoke in the area was from the fire near Cordelia Road.
