Teen With Loaded Firearm Arrested In Nearby Fairfield

A teenager was arrested Monday evening in Fairfield after he was found with a loaded firearm, police said.

SOLANO COUNTY, CA -- A teenager was arrested Monday evening in Fairfield after he was found with a loaded firearm, police said.

Around 7 p.m. on May 8, a person in the area of Mankas Park, located at 2800 Owens St., called police to report a group of juveniles and young adults fighting in the park. The citizen also described a vehicle to police, who located it when they arrived on the scene.

According to police, officers found six males sitting inside the vehicle smoking marijuana and they had an open container of alcohol in the car. The teenagers were identified and searched for weapons.

During the search, a loaded revolver was found in the waistband of an 18-year-old Fairfield resident identified as Nathanael Gregor. He was arrested and booked into Solano County Jail, police said.
