Two Suisun City Suspects Arrested After Shooting
Fairfield PD received calls regarding a shooting at 1 a.m. Sunday in the 1700 block of N. Texas St. When they arrived, they found the men.

FAIRFIELD - Police in Fairfield arrested two men early Sunday morning after responding to reports of a shooting on North Texas Street.
25-year-old Dubose Scarborough and 24-year-old Marcell Jack, both from Suisun City, were arrested when they were found with a loaded semi-automatic handgun, ammunition, and drugs.
About 1:00 a.m., Fairfield Police say they received calls regarding a shooting in the 1700 block of N. Texas St. The caller reported someone had fired several shots in the air, and was fleeing the scene in a white four door sedan.

Police say officers responded to the scene and found evidence of a shooting.
Other Fairfield officers who had responded began combing the area, and found a vehicle matching the description of the one leaving the scene.

Police say officers conducted a stop and detained Scarborough and Jack in the car.
During a search of the vehicle, police say a loaded semi-automatic handgun, ammunition, a substantial amount of marijuana, prescription controlled substances and cash were found.
Scarborough was booked into the county jail for the negligent discharge of a firearm, possessing a loaded firearm in a vehicle and the possession of controlled substances for sales.
Jack was booked into the county jail for the possession of controlled substances for sales and the violation of his Solano County probation.
Police say Jack is currently out of custody on probation for a previous felony firearm conviction.
