Water Jug Prompts Haz-Mat Response In Fairfield
The jug was found behind a restaurant on East Travis Boulevard, according to a Fairfield Fire Department official.

FAIRFIELD, CA — The Fairfield Fire Department responded to a hazardous materials call this morning behind a restaurant, Deputy Chief Matt Luckenbach said. Firefighters found a five-gallon water cooler-type jug containing a liquid around 9 a.m. Tuesday in the 900 block of East Travis Boulevard, Luckenbach
said.
The Solano County and Travis Air Force Base haz-mat teams responded and determined the liquid was diesel and it was safely discarded, Luckenbach said.
No injuries were reported and the scene was cleared around 11 a.m., Luckenbach said.
