TEMECULA, CA — Temecula's Chop Stop, a local go-to restaurant for chopped salads, wraps and more, has closed, Patch has learned.

The eatery, located at 32389 Temecula Parkway, #120 in the Vail Ranch Plaza, has been closed since the beginning of November.

Residents asked Patch about the empty store and what was planned for the location. The restaurant, part of the Chop Stop franchise chain, has indeed gone dark, according to Director of Operations Michelle Sellers.

The 1,000-square-foot restaurant space between Waba Grill and Pizza Guys, in the FedEx/Kinko's Office and Print Building, remains outfitted with Chop Stop signage and its interior. It is currently listed as available by leasing agents at Kimco Realty, which handles the plaza's listings.

"We put up a sign when we closed, but they must have taken it down. It is closed unless someone is interested in taking it over," Sellers told Patch.

The restaurant originally opened in November of 2020, amid COVID.
