Planning a family photo with Santa Claus? We've found some places to spot the Jolly Old Elf in Southwest Riverside County.

MURRIETA, CA — Visits and pictures with Santa Claus are treasured traditions for many families. In Murrieta and Riverside County, parents can take their kids to see or meet jolly old St. Nick in person from now until Christmas Eve, 2022.

Santa will make special appearances across Riverside County through Christmas Eve.

  • Temecula's Promenade Mall, located at 40820 Winchester Road, is among the places to spot him. Reservations are recommended for a magical visit through Christmas Eve, and remember, Santa will see multiple families during your 15-minute reservation window. Check the website for details. Also, see Santa at the Duck Pond Tree lighting on Dec. 1 from 7 to 8:30 p.m., the City of Temecula Christmas Parade on Friday, Dec. 6 at 7 p.m., and through special bookings at the Temecula Carriage Company .
  • Murrieta and Dunkin Donuts are hosting Donuts with Santa from 9 to 10:30 a.m. on Dec. 6 at Town Square Park. Admission is one non-perishable food item per child (including a dog or cat food item, or dog or cat treats and kitty litter), and donuts will be handed out to the first 500 kids who arrive.
  • In Lake Elsinore, Winterfest is best for getting into the holiday spirit. Held from 4 to 8:30 p.m. on Historic Main Street on Dec. 6, this annual tradition will surely fill your family with holiday joy. Take Photos with Santa, experience snowy sled runs, and be dazzled by the parade.
  • In Wildomar, a Breakfast with Santa is planned for Dec. 6 from 8 a.m. to noon at Marna O'Brien Park, 20505 Palomar Street. Santa will be there for photos and to hear the littles share their Christmas wishes. Breakfast includes pancakes, donuts, sausage, and coffee.
  • In Corona, Santa will also appear at Dos Lagos Mall, 2780 Cabot Drive Suite 140 in Corona, from Nov. 30 through Christmas Eve. Tickets and reservations are suggested. Note: you must ride the Polar Express train to take photos with Santa. Check the website for the most up-to-date information.
  • Santa will appear at The Shops At Palm Desert through Dec. 24, located at 72840 CA-111, Palm Desert. Special advanced reservations are recommended for photos with Santa. Don't forget to drop off your Letter to Santa, where three lucky kids will be selected for a special Santa Gift Basket!
  • Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, Dec. 6: Santa will be stopping by the Mountain Station’s Pines Café on Saturday, December 6, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Children can share their Christmas lists with Santa himself, pose for photos, and receive a free candy cane. Santa’s visit is included with a general tram fare admission. Tram tickets are $34.95 for adults, $31.95 for seniors, and $18.95 for children (ages 3 – 10).
  • Palm Springs Aerial Tramway's “Breakfast with Santa” will be held on Saturday, December 13, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in Pines Café. Join Santa and Mrs. Claus for a special holiday breakfast and festive crafts. “Breakfast with Santa” tickets are $55 for adults and seniors, and $42 for children (ages 3 – 10). Tram fare is included. Advanced tickets are required and can be purchased by visiting www.pstramway.com/tickets or by calling (760) 325-1449. Seating is “family style” (tables may be shared with other guests).
  • You can also find Santa at the Santa Photo Experience at Ontario Mills through Dec. 24 at One Mills Circle, Ontario. Note: multiple families will visit Santa during each 15-minute reservation window. Advanced reservations, available on this website, are recommended.
