All southbound lanes of the 405 Freeway will be closed to traffic Wednesday and Thursday from 12 a.m. - 5 a.m. between Highway 101 and Getty Center Drive as Metro begins work on installing a sewer pipe along the Skirball Bridge, according to Metro. Ramps could begin to close as early as 7 p.m. Wednesday. Southbound lanes will start shutting down at 10 p.m. During the construction, Sepulveda Boulevard will remain open. Skirball Bridge will stay closed each day from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., according to Metro.
