Armed Robbery At Venice CVS Prompts Police Investigation
Police were searching for an armed suspect who authorities say stole multiple items from the store Monday night.
VENICE, CA — Police were searching Monday night for an armed suspect who they say stole several items from the CVS on Main Street in Venice, authorities told Patch.
An incident was reported about 6:01 p.m. at a parking lot in the 250 block of Main Street, near Rose Avenue.
Officers were heading over to investigate the armed robbery about 6:10 p.m., where the suspect reportedly ran out of the store northbound on Main Street, a Los Angeles police dispatcher told Patch. The suspect used bodily force and stole miscellaneous items from the store before he ran off. They described him as a Black man in his 20s, about 5 feet, 6 inches and weighing about 120 pounds.
