Authorities ID Driver Killed In Venice Car Shooting

Authorities Wednesday identified a 20-year-old man who was shot and killed at a car-to-car shooting in Venice.

VENICE, CA — Authorities Wednesday identified a 20-year-old man slain in a car-to-car shooting in Venice.

Lucas Zamora, 20, of Fresno was shot about 10:45 a.m. Tuesday near Brooks and Pacific avenues, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Zamora was wounded and drove away from the area, where he crashed into a building at the Westminster Dog Park, 1234 Pacific Ave., police said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, the Los Angeles County coroner's office reported.

No arrests were reported. No suspect description or vehicle description was released.
