Blaze Scorches Venice Blvd. Commercial Building
Firefighters put out a fire that burned part of a commercial building in Arlington Heights.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, CA — Firefighters extinguished a contents fire Sunday that burned part of a commercial building in Arlington Heights, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The blaze broke out in a building at 3414 Venice Blvd. about 4:35 p.m., fire department spokeswoman Amy Bastman said.
The department sent 33 firefighters to the scene and knocked down the flames in about 31 minutes, Bastman said.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire remained under investigation, she said.
