Blue Bottle Coffee Coming to Venice

Blue Bottle Coffee is planning to open at 1103 Abbott Kinney Blvd., according to reports.

The Oakland-based coffee roaster and retailer plans to open in spring 2014 in 650 square feet, with a roll-up garage door, according to sprudge.com.

Blue Bottle's menu is said to include single origin and blend coffees, their popular New Orleans-style iced coffee and in-house baked coffee-compatible items such as cookies, fruit buckles, sweet and savory shortbread and sesame absinthe cigars, according to sources.

Blue Bottle has six locations in the Bay Area and four in New York City.
