Crews Knockdown Apartment Garage Fire In Venice
Firefighters prevented the fire from spreading from the garage into the apartment building.

VENICE, CA — Firefighters knocked down a blaze in the garage of an apartment building in Venice in 24 minutes, authorities said Thursday.
Crews responded to 28 E. 26th Ave., about 11:20 p.m. Wednesday and found a vehicle on fire in the garage of a three-story apartment building, according to Margaret Stewart with the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Firefighters prevented the fire from spreading into the building and knockdown was declared about 11:45 p.m., Stewart said.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
