Fire Scorches Second Story Venice Home
The cause of a fire at a Venice home Friday is under investigation.

VENICE, CA — Firefighters extinguished a property fire inside a home in Venice Friday, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The blaze broke out on the second floor of a house at 637 E. Santa Clara Ave. about 3:30 pm., fire department spokeswoman Amy Bastman said.
The department dispatched 35 firefighters to the scene and put out the flames in about 11 minutes, she said.

No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remained under investigation.
