Fire Scorches Westside House
Excessive storage conditions contributed to the intensity of a fire in the West Adams area Tuesday.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Firefighters put out a fire that badly damaged a house in the West Adams area of Los Angeles Tuesday. No one was hurt in the blaze, which remains under investigation.
Firefighters were sent to the 3000 block of Hillcrest Drive about 1:20 p.m. extinguished the flames in about 20 minutes, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
Some firefighters remained on scene to douse hot spots in the residence, where they encountered "excessive storage," the LAFD reported.
