VENICE, CA — Venice locals are invited to participate Sunday at First Baptist Church of Venice clean-up day Sunday.

The event starts at 11 a.m. at 685 Westminster Ave., near 7th Avenue, in Los Angeles.

People are encouraged to come hydrated, wear a hat, along with a mask, bring sanitizer and gloves and respect social distancing.

"Refreshment and snacks will be provided but please bring your own+1 for backup," organizers said.

Locals can also bring a rake, clippers, dust pan buckets, trash bags or other supplies to help out.
