LAPD Arrests Attempted Murder, Sexual Assault Suspect In Venice
Los Angeles Police Department investigators arrested a man suspected of attempted murder and sexual assault at Venice Beach.

VENICE, CA — Los Angeles police have arrested a 24-year-old man suspected of attempted murder and sexual assault near the Venice Fishing Pier that left a woman severely injured earlier this month.
Kwan Dante Adams, who police describe as a transient who frequents the area, was arrested Saturday in the Venice Beach area, police said. He was detained and booked for an outstanding robbery warrant. He remains in custody with no bail.
Detectives are continuing to ask the public for help during the ongoing investigation, releasing information about the suspect and incident.

Police discovered the woman on the ground outside a bathroom early Sept. 8. She was unconscious and suffering from head trauma. She sustained serious injuries and was hospitalized. Her car, wallet, keys and purse were all missing.
