LAPD Looking For Suspects Involved In Venice Sports Bar Shooting
Los Angeles police are asking the public's help for information about a shooting that happened outside a Venice sports bar Sept. 23.

VENICE, CA — Police are asking the public's help for information about two suspects involved in a shooting outside a Venice sports bar in September that left two people injured.
A man and woman were standing with family members and friends outside a sports bar at about 1 a.m. Sept. 23 on Washington Boulevard, just west of Pacific Avenue, according to Los Angeles Police Department.
"They were socializing in the outdoor dining patio when a verbal dispute turned into a physical fight with three suspects," police said. "During the fight, one of the suspects fired a handgun, striking both victims. The suspects fled the location."

One victim was taken to a hospital where he was treated and in stable condition, officials said. The other victim was treated at the scene.
Detectives are attempting to identify two additional suspects that were involved in the shooting, releasing an image of the possible suspects outside the bar that night.

Investigators have identified a suspect who was located and arrested in Norwalk on Sept. 24, police said.
"A subsequent search warrant was served at the location of arrest," police said. "Several items of evidentiary value were located including the handgun believed to have been used in the crime. The shooting suspect is a resident of Los Angeles."
