Make a Dish for Annual Police Appreciation Dinner

Community members will fete Los Angeles Police Department Pacific Division's officers and staff at an appreciation dinner.

Community members who want to help support the 21st Annual Pacific Division Police Appreciation Dinner may do so by bringing a dish to the station at 12312 Culver Blvd. (southeast corner of Culver and Centinela boulevards) Wednesday between 1:30 and 4 p.m., according to an event organizer.

Event organizers are looking for side dishes, cooked veggies or casseroles, pasta or potato salads, Asian and Mexican specialties such as carnitas, and desserts. Please bring your selection in a container that does not need to be returned. Aluminum foil trays are welcome as are other recyclable or disposable containers.

The meal, served from 3-7 p.m., acknowledges the work of police officers and civilian staff.

Other needed items include plates, utensils, sodas, water, ice, napkins and paper towels. Party type Sterno heated steam racks will be used to keep food warm.

Please contact one of the event organizers, Chris Williams, to let him know what you will bring: (310) 391-6110 or ckwvenice@gmail.com.
