Man Shot, Killed Before Crashing In Venice; Suspect Sought
A man was shot and killed before flipping and crashing a vehicle into a building in Venice Tuesday, officials said. His killer is at large.

VENICE, CA — A driver was shot and killed before his car flipped and slammed into a building in Venice Tuesday, according to police.
The car jumped a curb, hit a tree and flipped at Westminster Dog Park in Venice, neighbors told Patch.
The fatal crash happened about 10:49 a.m. in the 1300 block of South Pacific Avenue, near Westminster Avenue, according to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Paramedics found the victim dead at the crash, Stewart said. Crews were working to recover the body. His name was not immediately released.
Police blocked traffic on Pacific Avenue, near Clubhouse Court and Westminster Avenue, during the investigation.

No description was released of the suspect or the suspect's vehicle.
