VENICE, CA — A man was shot and injured early Saturday near the Google offices in Venice, the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed with Patch. A suspect approached the victim when an altercation started near Sunset Avenue and Main Street at 1:12 a.m., Officer Rosario Cervantes of the Los Angeles Police Department told Patch. The suspect fired a handgun at the victim, striking him. The victim was taken to a hospital in stable condition, she said. No arrests were made. No suspect description was immediately available.
