A man said to be about 40 years old was found dead Friday in an apartment in the Marina Peninsula area of Venice and police were investigating a possible suicide.The body was found about 11:45 a.m. in the 3400 block of Ocean Front Walk, south of Washington Boulevard by a family member doing a welfare check, LAPD Officer Norma Eisenman said.Eisenman said the cause of death was under investigation, but KCAL9 reported the man suffered a gunshot wound.- City News Service
