"Regular in-person events are returning to Beyond Baroque! After two years of being largely closed, we’re resuming in-person readings and events later this month. On March 18, we’re featuring Anna Journey and David St. John in celebration of Anna’s new book The Judas Ear. On March 19 our new exhibition 7x7.LA: Selected Artists & Writer Collaborations opens in the Mike Kelley Gallery. We’ll have a reception, followed by a reading with 7x7.LA contributors Wendy C. Ortiz, Deirdre Danklin, and Lisa Teasley.
We’ll also continue to have regular virtual programs, and all of our workshops will remain virtual for the time being. Upcoming virtual events include a reading with Mahogany L. Browne and Tonya Ingram on March 10; a multilingual program on poetry in Basque, Catalan, Galician, and Spanish on March 12.
