Venice Teen Who Created Charity 'A Call Away' in Running for Scholarship

You can help her win it.

From a press release:

Teenager Amber Perry of Venice and her friends formed a charity called “A Call Away” after volunteering in the Child Life Program at Mattel Children’s Hospital UCLA and meeting families struggling to be present for their loved one, while at the same time, battling to keep their daily lives in-tact.

“A Call Away” is a network of volunteers that provides services for families with hospitalized members, such as caring for their child while they are at the hospital, running errands, delivering meals, doing laundry and clerical work, helping their kids with homework, or fundraising to help pay for costly hospital parking.
