2. The Mar Vista Business Association will hold a task force meeting Tuesday at 9 a.m. "to decide the kind of entity to adopt as we move forward into 2014." The meeting opens for coffee at 8:45 a.m. at the Coffee Connection/West LA Café, 3838 S. Centinela Ave.
3. The Mar Vista Business Association is holding a holiday cocktail mixer Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at Louie's of Mar Vista. Details here.
4. The Makaha 50th Anniversary Bowl Jam and Food Drive 2013 on Saturday benefits the Westside Food Bank. Canned good donations are welcome even if you're not a skater. Details here.
