Mt. Diablo Village, a nonprofit organization for Walnut Creek seniors, is presenting a Book Talk on "Super Agers" by Dr. Eric Topol. The speaker of the book talk is Dr. Lawren Hicks of John Muir Health. Dr. Hicks will help us unpack the informative book that's full of medical researches, follow up studies, medical science breakthroughs, excitements and how they are related to the aging community. Join us to start a positive note on building a great health span in the new year. 

Dr. Lawren Hicks is a family doctor at John Muir Health. He is also the medical director who writes a quarterly newsletter regarding senior concerns. Below is Dr. Hick's message:

"One of the main focuses in my practice is seniors and I enjoy working with them to try to sort out their problems in living. One of the main concerns they have is maintaining their independence and their quality of life as they become older and more frail."
