WALNUT CREEK, CA — Walnut Creek resident Connie Cushing sent this image of a coyote as seen from her dining room window.

The photo was taken around 12:35 p.m. Jan. 12, Connie told Patch.

Her home is near open space so it was not the first time seeing one of the critters, she said.
