WALNUT CREEK, CA — Lindsay Wildlife Experience invites the community to a free, family-friendly event in celebration of a milestone anniversary.

Launched 70 years ago by Alexander "Sandy" Lindsay as a garage full of locally collected specimens and the occasional wild animal, Lindsay Wildlife developed into one of the first wildlife rehabilitation hospitals in the nation. For seven decades, it has remained a cornerstone for wildlife conservation and education.

Planned from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 3, the special event will commemorate this legacy while engaging the community with free museum admission, hands-on activities, live encounters with native wildlife ambassadors, interactive booths from local community partners, and more.
