New Store To Hold Grand Opening In Walnut Creek

The new retailer in Broadway Plaza will host its grand opening this weekend.

WALNUT CREEK, CA — The San Francisco-based jewelry store Rocksbox is hosting a grand opening this weekend for its new location in Walnut Creek.

The event will be 2-6 p.m. Saturday at 1306 Broadway Plaza, No. 1116. It will include drinks, refreshments, color analysis from 2-5 p.m. and giveaways.

The online retailer is opening stores nationwide in 2025, according to a press email about the grand opening. Rocksbox already has locations in San Francisco and New York, and, in addition to the Walnut Creek store, there are plans for stores in Los Angeles and Miami.

“The new stores will have a relaxed atmosphere with jewelry presented on interactive displays for customers to try on and style,” the email said.

The email described Rocksbox as a “premier fashion jewelry destination” that is “inviting customers to come and explore popular jewelry brands such as Kendra Scott, Kate Spade, Ana Luisa, and Lele Sadoughi as well as Rocksbox’s own private label.”

Rocksbox’s parent company is Signet, which also owns jewelry heavyweights KAY, Zales, Jared and Blue Nile.
