WALNUT CREEK, CA — Esperanza Place, a Habitat Humanity affordable housing development in Walnut Creek, is accepting applications.

First-time homebuyers earning up to 120 percent of the area median income may qualify to buy a home at Esperanza Place through an affordable mortgage with Habitat for Humanity.

The homes include 1-to 4 bedroom townhomes that are energy-efficient and solar-powered, with parking, including EV vehicles, as well as social spaces. The location is near BART and buses, according to the agency.

Orientations are required and available before or after submitting a pre-application and full application. Homeowner Orientations are held in English on Zoom. Subtitles and
