City To Offer West Hollywood Residents Free Rides To Polling Places Tuesday

The city is offering these options as part of its mission to make the poll accessible to everyone.

WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA -- As part of its mission to make the polls accessible to everyone, the city of West Hollywood will offer residents free rides to their polling place on Tuesday.

CityLine, West Hollywood’s free local shuttle, has stops adjacent to all of the city’s polling places. Shuttles will run on Election Day at 30-minute intervals from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

In addition, West Hollywood Dial-A-Ride will provide free direct transportation on Tuesday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Residents may request a ride by calling, toll-free, (800) 447-2189 at any time before 1 p.m. on Election Day to reserve a trip.

Residents can also bike to their polling place on the city's bike share program, WeHo Pedal. The city will offer 60 minutes credit on election day from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. (one hour before and after the polls closed). After the first 60 minutes, regular WeHo Pedal rates apply.
