Slash's Iconic Guns N' Roses Guitar to be Sold in West Hollywood Auction

The guitar is signed by Slash and includes a letter of authenticity from the guitarist.

WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA -- The iconic metallic red B.C. Rich Warlock guitar owned and played by Slash during the early days of Guns N' Roses can now be yours.

The guitar bought by Slash at the Hollywood Music Store in West Hollywood in 1984 will be going on auction Nov. 5 as part of Julien's Auction's Icons and Idols: Rock n' Roll auction. Slash first performed with the guitar in 1984 at Madame Wong's West in Santa Monica with the Hollywood Rose, a band that included future Guns N' Roses members Axl Rose and Steven Adler.

The guitar was Slash's main guitar during Guns N' Roses' formative years in Hollywood. It was the guitar that Slash used to write and record "Welcome To The Jungle" and "Sweet Child O' Mine." Both songs are featured on Guns N' Roses' debut album, "Appetite for Destruction."
