Lance Bass to Host 'Bachelor'-Style Gay Dating Reality Show

The show features 13 men competing for the heart of "one of the nation's most eligible gay heartthrobs."

West Hollywood, CA — Former 'NSync member Lance Bass has been named as the host of a new reality dating competition show, "Finding Prince Charming," debuting this fall on the on the gay lifestyle network, Logo.

"Finding Prince Charming" will feature 13 men living together in one house, competing to win the heart of whom the network called "one of the nation's most eligible gay heartthrobs." The men will be eliminated one by one until "Prince Charming" finds his one true love.

"Logo has a long history of showcasing LGBTQ-focused stories with memorable characters that transcend pop culture," said Pamela Post, senior vice president of original programming for Logo. "'Finding Prince Charming' will take viewers on a whirlwind journey through modern love and relationships in a way that only Logo can do."

A gay dating show has been done in the past. In 2003, Bravo debuted "Boy Meets Boy," with the same concept but with a twist — some of the guys competing were straight.

The show is currently in production, and no word yet who "Prince Charming" might be.
