Mid-City LA Home Invasion Robbery Suspects Taken Into Custody
Three home invasion robbery suspects were taken into custody by an LAPD SWAT team Monday morning following a barricade in a Mid-City home.
LOS ANGELES -- Three home invasion robbery suspects were taken into custody by a Los Angeles Police Department SWAT team today following a barricade in a Mid-City residence.
Authorities went to the 4900 block of Venice Boulevard at 12:30 a.m., Officer D. Orris of the LAPD's Operations Center said, after two men and a woman forced their way into the residence at gunpoint.
The residents of the home got out safely, and a SWAT team was sent to the scene. The three suspects were taken into custody about 6:40 a.m., the LAPD reported.
