Missing Man, 52, Who Frequents West Hollywood Remains Missing

David William Ottenhouse, who was known to frequent West Hollywood, hasn't contacted his family since September, officials said.

WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA — Sheriff's investigators continued to ask for the public's help Sunday to find a 52-year-old man who frequents the West Hollywood area and has not contacted his family for three months.

David William Ottenhouse was last seen Sept. 4, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Missing Persons Unit.

The family of Ottenhouse, who they say "lives a transient lifestyle," are "concerned for his well-being," according to a sheriff's statement.

Ottenhouse is white, stands 5-feet-9 inches tall and weighs about 155 pounds. He has green eyes and brown hair.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts was asked to contact Missing Persons Unit Detective Matthew Pereida at 323-890-5500 or 911. Tipsters can also call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477.
