My children's book favorite: Kordan The Wizard (w/QR codes with music)
Kids cannot put down their phones but two clever musicians (one an author too) figured out how to make this a good thing.

What happens with a wizard, a King, a princess, a dragon and some giants get together - and also like to sing?
Yes, there is a new cool middle-school book in town, and it's the first time QR codes unlock original cool music for kids -and adults.
Kordan The Wizard is the new book by author David Nos and music partner Bob Agner. These two musicians have been playing music together for years, and have a large following.

David wanted to embrace his love of dragons and fantasy novels, and wrote the first book in a series, Kordan The Wizard, published by RebelBooksPress.com, and it's selling like crazy already in the US and in Europe.
The book is sold everywhere but you may need to order online, because it sells out. I purchased mine at the Barnes and Noble at the Grove at Farmers Market, and ordered it to be shipped. It only took 3 days!

Make sure you tell the kids they should have their cell phone with them, so they can use the QR code to open the original music, which is awesome by the way.
