No Foolin', Gun N' Roses to Play at Troubadour for $10
Tickets for the 'secret' show will go on sale at noon at the former Tower Records store location in West Hollywood
WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA -- On a day where you'd have to take any major too-good-to-be-true announcements from major artists with a grain of salt, this one is actually true. Guns N' Roses will be playing at the Troubadour on Friday night for just only $10.
Fans have a reason to be suspicious. The band's website opens with "April Fools?" But this is no April Fools' joke. The band has confirmed that it will be playing the venue where the band had its start in 1986. In fact, the band played there exactly 30 years ago to the day.
Tickets for the show will go on sale at noon at Gibsons Brand, the former site of Tower Records, in West Hollywood. A limited number will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis. Oh, and only one ticket per person.
The band will take to the stage sometime after 11 p.m., according to its website.
Hundreds of people are already lining the street outside the store for tickets to the "secret" show.
The recently reunited band's only announced performance had been the headlining role at this year's Coachella music festival. But around midday Friday, the band released a list of 20 planned dates for the "Not in This Lifetime Tour." The only Southern California show on the schedule is Aug. 22 at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego. The group will perform in San Francisco on Aug. 9.
