North Hollywood Burglary Suspect Arrested Near West Hollywood

Police followed the suspect into the Hollywood, West Hollywood area. There may have been other accomplices, police said.

WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA -- A burglary suspect was in custody Friday afternoon from an incident that started in North Hollywood, a Los Angeles Police Department officer said.

The incident started at around 1:15 p.m. in the 600 block of North Kingsley Drive in North Hollywood, LAPD Officer Drake Madison said. From there police followed the suspect or suspects to the Hollywood, West Hollywood and Wilshire areas, he said.

There was no pursuit but officers were monitoring the suspect's vehicle, Madison said. One suspect was arrested near West Hollywood, he said. There may have been other accomplices in the burglary and a perimeter was set up on Willoughby Avenue between North Sierra Bonita Avenue and North Orange Drive but none were found, Madison said.

The captured suspect was described as a black man. Police have no other information about the other potential suspect or about the burglary at this time.
