Queen Latifah Will Be 'Queen of the Carnaval'
The Halloween Carnaval will be held from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. along Santa Monica Boulevard on Thursday.

Rap star, actress, author and TV talk show host Queen Latifah will be crowned the 2013 “Queen of the Carnaval” at the The Halloween Carnaval in West Hollywood on Thursday.
The Halloween Carnaval will be held from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. along Santa Monica Boulevard from Doheny Drive to La Cienega Boulevard, and will include three main entertainment stages and several side stages featuring over 50 artists. An estimated 500,000 people are expected to attend the event.
Latifah's career in entertainment spans back to her 1989 rap debut All Hail the Queen. She has also starred in a TV show, Living Single, and appeared in numerous feature films, including her Academy Award-nominated turn in Chicago. Her talk show, The Queen Latifah Show, debuted earlier this year.
