WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA — "Camp West Hollywood," the summer camp provided by the city of West Hollywood's Recreation Services Division, started Monday but there's still time to sign up, the city said.
The camp typically takes place at West Hollywood Park but moved to Plummer Park because of renovations taking place there. The camp will run weekdays for six weeks from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., starting Monday and ending on July 21. There are a limited number of spots still available, the city said. The enrollment fee is $150 a week.
The camp provides a bevy of indoor and outdoor activities as well as fun and exciting happenings each day for campers. There will be weekly field trips to local hot spots such as Universal Studios, the Los Angeles Zoo, the California Sciencenter, and more. All campers will have the opportunity to swim at the West Hollywood Aquatics Center, located at West Hollywood Park, where trained and certified lifeguards will always be on duty.
