The Avenues' Big Sale Set for Saturday

Valentine's Day is less than a week away. If you're stumped on what to get your sweetie, The Avenues' first ever district-wide sale this Saturday may be your best bet.

Local and internationally known retailers along Robertson Boulevard, Melrose Avenue and Beverly Boulevard are offering in-store promotions and sidewalk sales on art, fashion and interior design products between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Just in time for Valentine's Day, —the quaint Robertson shop known for its couture women's lingerie and swimwear—is having an unbeatable sidewalk sale. Items are expected to be discounted up to 75 percent. Just make sure you get your honey's size before battling shoppers.

Designer clothes are another way to go. will be offering an extra 10 percent off all winter items already on sale. Get 70 percent off sidewalk sale items and an additional 20 percent off in-store sale items over at . And just down the street at , merchandise will be discounted 30-to-70 percent.
