WeHo Pedals Kicks Off Spring With Hub Days And A Bike Share Basics Class
WeHo Pedals currently offers 150 'Smart Bikes' at 20 stations throughout the city, enabling car-free commutes and affordable short trips.

WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA -- The city of West Hollywood invites community members to learn about WeHo Pedals, the city's bike share program - just in time for Spring. WeHo Pedals Hub Days will be pop-up events held throughout the city of West Hollywood during mid-March to provide information, answer questions, and assist people who are interested in the program in testing out a bike and registering for a WeHo Pedals membership. Cycling is a wonderful way to enjoy sunny Spring weather while exercising and easily getting around town.
People who join WeHo Pedals during Hub Days will receive a free promotional gift, and will enjoy one complimentary hour of ride time (for new members only). WeHo Pedals Hub Days will be held at the following dates, times, and bike hub locations:
- Monday, March 13, 2017 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the West Hollywood Gateway, located at 7100 Santa Monica Boulevard (near Formosa Avenue adjacent to BevMo!);
- Tuesday, March 14, 2017 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Santa Monica Boulevard at Genesee Avenue; and
- Wednesday, March 15, 2017 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the corner of Santa Monica and San Vicente Boulevards.
The city of West Hollywood will host aWeHo Pedals bike share education class on Sunday, March 26, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the WeHo Pedals Bike Share Hub at Plummer Park, located at 7377 Santa Monica Boulevard. The class will offer a hands-on experience that aims to educate and encourage the members of the public to use the bike share system as informed, safe, and lawful cyclists. Participants will not only learn cycling safety tips and local rules of the road, they will also learn how to use all of the features of a WeHo Pedals bicycle. Participation in the class is free and space is limited to 15 participants. Reserve a spot in the WeHo Pedals bike share basics class at www.wehopedals.com. Walk-ins cannot be accepted; advance registration is required.

The city of West Hollywood launched WeHo Pedals in August 2016. WeHo Pedals currently offers 150 'Smart Bikes' at 20 stations throughout West Hollywood, enabling car-free commutes and affordable short trips around town.
The WeHo Pedals service area includes the entire city of West Hollywood and nearby areas such as the city of Beverly Hills, The Grove, and the Hollywood & Highland shopping area and Metro Red Line Station.
