West Hollywood Celebrates International Women's Day This Weekend
Activities will include an art show, fashion show, crafts, raffle prizes and performances by singers and dancers.

WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA -- In honor of the International Women's Day, West Hollywood will a celebration this weekend at Plummer Park, the city announced.
The event is held in conjunction with the city's Russian Advisory Board, Women's Advisory Board, Arts and Cultural Affairs Commission and the American-Russian Business Council.
The event goes from noon to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, March 5 at Plummer Park's Fiesta Hall, 7377 Santa Monica Blvd.

Activities will include an art show, fashion show, crafts, raffle prizes and performances by singers and dancers. There will also be a holiday fair where attendees can shop for jewelry, bags, cosmetics and clothing, the city said.
"The event promotes a broader understanding of the diverse cultural backgrounds in the city and provides attendees with the opportunity to become acquainted with some of the cultural traditions of the Russian-speaking community while encouraging women and girls to take action to forge a more gender-inclusive world," the city said in a statement.
