West Hollywood City Council Unanimously Supports Measure M
The measure would also generate around $500,000 for the city to use in transportation-related expenditures.

WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA — The West Hollywood City Council on Tuesday unanimously support Measure M, the Los Angeles Metro public transportation tax ballot measure.
The measure, which will be decided by voters in the general election in November, proposes to increase the sales tax countywide to improve mobility and support transportation improvements to the region. A two-thirds majority is required to pass the tax.
If approved, Measure would generate around $860 million annually and about 17 percent will be returned to the city for transportation-related capital and program use. Based on the 2018 projects, that translates to about $509,000 annually for the city.
