Phones Out at West Valley LAPD Station

Need to get ahold of them? Here's the backup number.

Phone lines have gone dead at a Los Angeles police station in Canoga Park, and police warned the public to call a backup phone line until the problems are fixed.

Police said calls to 911 emergency lines were not affected.

The affected station was the Topanga Community Police Station, at 21501 Schoenborn St., in Canoga Park. The affected area was in the southwestern section of the San Fernando Valley.

A citywide toll-free number is functioning normally, and people with non- emergency calls to police were directed to call (877) ASK-LAPD, also known as (877) 275-5273.
